Since 1997 Schiavello has led the Australian furniture industry in the establishment of good environmental practices, resulting in the formation of its own Environmental Rating Tool [ERT]. This tool addresses important environmental elements in the manufacture of products, and goes beyond both the Good Building Council of Australia’s (GBCA) Green Star Materials Calculator and Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA) standards.
We have developed a comparison table to show how comprehensive our ERT is in relation to Green Star and GECA comparison Table.
Schiavello products that have undergone environmental assessment will feature any GECA certificates, ERT tables, or Green Star Office Interiors Materials Calculators (MAT 1-6) percentage scores and Materials Calculator credits (as calculated in the Green Star Office Interiors Rating Tool).
