Our manufacturing capabilities include specialised engineering and tooling; metal and timber fabrication; plastic injection moulding; electrical power and data soft wiring; metal, plastic and powder coating and many other processes that can be performed at one location, allowing for tailored solutions without a cost premium.
Continually striving to be world class manufacturers and employ best practice principals, Schiavello is working towards a lean manufacturing model utilising the international Kaizen philosophy. Demanding continuous improvement and ongoing evaluation, Kaizen eliminates any non-value adding actions in order to improve efficiencies, processes and morale, resulting in a happier, more productive workplace.
We apply these best practice manufacturing principals to everything we do, including our approach to sustainability and the environment. One such initiative has been the launch of e-cycle®, an environmental program that re-acquires Schiavello furniture at the end of it’s lifecycle to recycle or reuse and resell as a way of reducing material consumption churn.
Recognising Schiavello’s world-class achievements in manufacturing, in 2008 Schiavello was inducted into the Victorian Manufacturers Hall of Fame, three years after Tony Schiavello’s individual contribution to manufacturing was recognised with his own induction into the VM Hall of Fame. |
