Seat
In 2004, Mario Bellini commissioned Schiavello
to develop a Bellini designed seat for the
re-opening of the National Gallery of Victoria
(NGV).
The seats were designed for in the public
seating sections throughout the gallery.
Bellini was very specific about the shape,
foam density, base and leather.
Several different configurations of the
seat were made, and Schiavello now offers
2 seater, 3 seater and 4 seater options
as part of their standard chair range. The
seats can be upholstered in leather, fabric
or vinyl.
