| Tom is the
result of a series of model experiments merging cones
and cylinders to suit its many purposes. “We like
to investigate elementary geometries for furniture and
objects; providing simple solutions for a complicated
world,” explains Stefanie Flaubert.
Tom can be flipped over to reveal a different profile
and purpose. Use it as a side table, foot stool or for
additional seating. Made of indestructible polypropylene,
Tom’s composition enables indoor and outdoor use.
“We wanted it to be used inside or outside: why
should outdoor furniture look so different from indoor
furniture? We should be able to sit inside or out, and
not have to buy differentiated equipment for the same
basic function,” adds Stefanie Flaubert.
